My research is concerned with Early Mesopotamia and the history of Ancient Israel. I am now working on some Old Akkadian tablets for publication. The rise and fall of the Akkadian empire is a huge question so I have to allow myself a few more years. For Ancient Israel, I am preparing a non-historical book on the vision of good life in the book of Qohelet.
